From Jul 9 to Aug 9, 2024*, Edge, Pan Pacific Singapore’s award-winning buffet restaurant will be welcoming ND 2024 with the “Flavours of the Lion City: A Culinary Expedition Through Singapore” buffet dinner. Conceptualised by Executive Chef Andy Oh and his Culinary Team, this special buffet pays homage to the melting pot of cultures that is Singapore.

The buffet will feature an irresistible spread of Singapore culinary gems and classics. From Peppery Teochew Bak Kut to Braised Soya Duck and Peanut with Yam Rice, to Bak Chor Mee, Singapore Laksa with Baby Lobster, Braised Kurobuta Pork Belly with Lotus Bun, Teochew Steamed Local-farmed Golden Pomfret, Nyonya Chap Chye, Kueh Pie Tee, Popiah, and more.

Diners with a sweet tooth will swoon over the Singaporean dessert showcase. Sweet finishes that await include Deep-fried Durian, Banana & Chempedak Ball, the National Day signature Chempedak Cake, Durian Pengat, Milo Dinosaur Panna Cotta, Lychee Bandung Compote Trifle, Kopi O Cake, Onde Lamington, Pulut Hitam Soup, an assortment of charming Rainbow Roti Ice Cream Sandwiches, and more.

To quench your thirst after all the savoury delights, a wide range of familiar and nostalgic drinks are available. An old-school pop-up drinks stall will dish out the classic Teh Tarik, Iced Limau, Soya Chin Chow, and the Lion City’s signature Singapore Sling reinterpreted as a delicious mocktail.

Celebrating Singapore’s Multi-Cultural Heritage

In addition to the array of Singaporean culinary classics, the Flavours of the Lion City: A Culinary Expedition Through Singapore buffet dinnet at Edge celebrates Singapore’s unique multi-cultural heritage.

The live cooking stations will highlight the multi-cultural culinary influences of our Lion City, which includes Singaporean, Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese, Thai, and Western influences.

Throughout the National Day celebration period, the Culinary Team at Edge will also serve up a stunning breadth of delicious creations, showcasing their expertise in à la minute preparations. The comprehensive buffet experience aims to transport diners on a tantalizing gastronomic journey through the vibrant flavours that make Singapore’s food culture so dynamic and respected worldwide.

Buffet Price and Other Details

The Flavours of the Lion City: A Culinary Expedition Through Singapore at Edge is available for dinner from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm from Jul 9 until Aug 8, 2024, and is priced at SGD 108++ per adult and SGD 54++ per child (6 – 12 years old) from Thursdays to Saturdays, and SGD 92++ per adult and SGD 46++ per child (6 – 12 years old) from Sundays to Wednesdays. Prices include complimentary coffee, tea, teh tarik, iced limau, and soya chin chow.

This sumptuous National Day Buffet is also available for lunch from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Singapore’s National Day on Aug 9, 2024. The lunch buffet is similarly priced at SGD 128++ per adult and SGD 64++ per child (6 – 12 years old), and includes complimentary coffee, tea, teh tarik, iced limau, and soya chin chow.

All prices are subject to 10 percent service charge and prevailing government taxes unless indicated otherwise.

Special Price If You Are Born in 1965, Singapore’s Birth Year!

In celebration of Singapore’s National Day month, Edge is furthermore offering Singaporean citizens born in the year 1965 a special price of SGD 88++ per person. This commemorative offer pays tribute to Singapore’s 59th year of independence, allowing those who share the nation’s birth year to partake in the flavourful festivities at a discounted rate.

It is a heartfelt gesture of appreciation towards the pioneering generation who have contributed to Singapore’s remarkable development over the past six decades.
