Pokémon-themed cable cars have been floating above Mount Faber and Sentosa since May. In celebrations ahead of the 50th anniversary of Singapore Cable Car and the 2023 holiday season, all 67 cabins on the Mount Faber Line have received a second, festive makeover. Interiors now feature everybody’s favourite Pokémon in jolly festive outfits, complete with wreaths and mistletoes to spread the season’s joys.
The exteriors of many cabins have also been wrapped. All aspiring trainers can now ride across Singapore’s southern skies in the blue and red Great Balls, the striking black and yellow Ultra Balls, the rare purple and pink Master Balls, and the romantically pink Love Balls too. It’s truly a complete power upgrade!
The Pokémon “2.0” upgrade doesn’t stop at the cabins, of course—there are festive attractions to enjoy at both Sentosa and Mount Faber Stations too. At the Sentosa end, an expansive festive photo wall featuring Pokémon from the Kanto Region such as Charmander and Bulbasaur, and Pokémon from Galar and Paldea regions like Yamper and Pawmi, awaits all travelers.
The vintage cabins and photo spots over at Mount Faber Peak are now dressed for the holidays. Fancy a Christmas-y shot with Snorlax? The sleepy Pokémon is there waiting for ya!
Like rides since May, each ticket is entitled to a complimentary Pokémon sun visor—five designs are available while stocks last.
You can also win for yourself a free icy treat by participating in a social media giveaway. All you need to do is post a photo of yourself in a festive Pokémon cable car cabin on your personal Instagram or Facebook account with the hashtag #SGCableCar50 and tag @MountFaberLeisure.

Ticketing and Prices
Tickets are available at ticketing counters and on the MFLG website. From Nov 1, 2023, all guests can also enjoy a 20% discount on online purchases of the Cable Car Sky Pass (Round Trip) too. This pass offers a round trip on both the Mount Faber and Sentosa Lines and comes with complimentary chips and a drink.
Over-the-counter Cable Car Sky Passes are sold at the regular price of SGD 35, with the exclusive option to top-up SGD 10 at the counter for unlimited one-day rides.
