Combined with OPPO’s in-depth understanding of Singaporean and global users, the verdict for the next Find N3 Flip is that “Vertical is Better.”
Selfies with Vertically No Crop
When users use the cover screen to take selfies, they can enjoy a full preview. This allows for a familiar orientation – similar to the smartphone screen and the phone’s camera sensor – which means that it captures photos with virtually no crop. For users, what they see is what they get.
While other products may have larger cover screens capable of displaying more, the vertical cover screen of the Find N3 Flip stands out with its intuitive design as its accurate preview helps users compose their shots more effectively and confidently.
When Bigger isn’t Better
Most Android apps are designed to work in a vertical screen. Therefore, OPPO’s vertical cover screen experience is more natural and intuitive, and displays more information.
Compared to other products, Find N3 Flip can provide previews of more text messages and emails (Gmail), showing more of the conversation details (WhatsApp).
It can also display social media posts (X/Twitter) more comprehensively, whereas with other products, you may only see a portion of the text. The Find N3 Flip allows users to see both text and the entire four accompanying images.
The most noticeable efficiency disparities that users experience in their daily lives is not determined by screen size, but rather if that size is being designed for the user.
The Next-Level Cover Screen Experience
To make sure all supporting apps can scale effectively on the cover screen, over the past few months, OPPO worked closely with partners such as Google to fine-tune the experience for each app, one by one.
Out of the box, Find N3 Flip will support dozens of the most popular apps on the cover screen. That includes Google apps like Phone, Maps, and Gmail, as well as other popular apps social media, short video, music streaming and food delivery apps, and car-hailing services, maps, online payment solutions and more.
More apps will be added on Find N3 Flip’s powerful cover screen through future software updates.
You can easily answer calls using Google Dial, play a fun GameSnacks game, hail a taxi with Grab, navigate using Google Maps, scroll through social media posts and videos, or even respond to messages on Telegram with a Google keyboard – all without the need to open your phone.
With the new app support, OPPO believes users will experience the next-level cover screen experience on the Find N3 Flip.
