A close encounter with rampaging dinosaurs at Plaza Singapura’s Rawr! Dinosaurs Unearthed.
Went to Plaza Singapura to renew my mobile contract, and walked right into monstrous dinosaurs!
Not an actual invasion by Jurassic fiends, of course. This Plaza Singapura event, a collaboration with the Singapore Science Centre, is a joint exhibition titled Rawr! Dinosaurs Unearthed.
Spread across the entire ground floor atrium, the exhibition featured several full-size automated beasties, children rides, as well as fun workshops.
What I found most impressive was how lifelike the massive automations were! From the looks of it, all seemed built to scale too.
Personally, I’m not that into dinosaurs. They just feel, I don’t know, crude? That said, I don’t actually dislike them, and I continue to watch the Jurassic Park movie franchise.
For parents, I think this Plaza Singapura event is a great opportunity to entertain and educate the little darlings too. The ones I saw today were all positively delighted by the bellowing monsters. (The courage!) My other guess is also that none of them would be complaining later, when made to sit through dinner and grocery shopping. All thanks to this mini-adventure.
